Hon. Justice Zeija(Principal Judge) at the Commercial Court

The Principal Judge, Hon. Justice Dr Flavian Zeija, on Tuesday (March 17, 2020)made his maiden visit as PJ to the Commercial Division where he was received by head of the Division, Hon. Justice Dr. Henry Peter Adonyo.

Hon.Justice Dr Adonyo together with Judges; Hon. Lady Justice Anna Mugenyi Bitature, Hon. Justice Richard Wabwire and Hon. Justice Boniface Wamala,  took the PJ on a guided tour of court premises.

Among the places visited were the Registries, the Library and Judges' chambers.

It was during the inspection that the Principal Judge discovered the court's data servers broke down two years ago and have not been repaired since then.

One of the concerns raised was the need to have more transcribers assigned to the court.

Hon.Justice Dr Zeija held a meeting with the Judicial Officers at the Court.Equally present were Deputy Registrar, HW Dr Agnes Nkonge and Ag. Assistant Registrar, HW Lillian Bucyana.
